Hungary is to take command of Kabul's international airport from October, and plans to send 60 more troops to Afghanistan next year as part of its commitment to NATO, minister of defense Imre Szekeres announced on Sunday (May 4).
The public first got to know László Majtényi as data protection ombudsman in 1995. After the end of his term in 2001, he chaired the Károly Eötvös Institute of Public Politics. Although he says this period was one of the most successful times of his life, he is now back in public office, as the head of the National Electronic Media Authority (ORTT).

I lived in the first settlement of Budapest, Óbuda, close to 20 years ago, just when the real transformation of the area around Kolosy tér began, and I experienced regular shocks as I witnessed original peasant houses being bulldozed.
