The Independent Smallholders National Party (FKNP) announced their withdrawal of trust from Zoltán Lengyel and asked him to leave the party.
“The political activity and behavior of Lengyel is not acceptable for FKNP,” said Molnár László, national chairman of FKNP. The party disapproved of Lengyel’s voting for the partial withdrawal of the 13th month’s pension on November 25 without prior consultation with the party’s leadership. Zoltán Lengyel left opposition Fidesz in August 2007 and became an independent MP, he joined FKNP in September 12, 2008 announcing that he will represent the interests of FKNP in the Parliament, but did not join the faction only the party. On October 13, this year, when the faction of minor democratic MDF almost dissolved Lengyel unexpectedly saved it by joining the faction. The Independent Smallholders National Party was founder in 2005. Its chairman László Molnár and high secretary György Atyánszky were previously both members of the Independent Smallholders Party (FKGP) led by József Torgyán
