After several months of work, preparations have been completed and the spectacular part of the TóPARK development has begun. The construction road is complete, power lines crossing the area are safely relocated and the old desilters of the lake located in the center of the area are also transferred.This momentum means a turning point in implementation since the past months were only about the preparation of the foundation for the 92 000 square meter large office park to be built in the first phase. A nearly two-kilometer-long, so-called “construction road” has been built exclusively for heavy traffic participating in the implementation. This temporary carriage way does not come down under vehicles as heavy as 40 tons and resists the extremes of weather; furthermore, it was prepared by absolutely environment friendly technology.
Preparatory works also included the relocation of power lines crossing the area and the establishment of a new desilter at the lake. The lake located on the area, which is nearly the size of Margaret Island, is supplied with water by Hosszúréti Brook, which used to join the lake through two desilters earlier. its function was to gather the wash of water reaching the lake. Termination of the two former, neglected desilters, dragging out the muddy bed, refilling its place and diverting Hosszúréti Brook into the arranged desilter represented an essential part of the development.
Construction works started with the foundation of the buildings of Párizsi street 1-3. and Párizsi street 2-4. on the side of M1 and will proceed to the south. Currently five poling machines are preparing the foundation, several dozens of mixer cars and trucks are moving on the area and the machine pool that is working on the area of almost the size of Váci street (nearly 10 hectares) consists of as many as eighty tools during the implementation of TóPARK Offices.
Deep foundation by poling will be followed by the construction of armored concrete structures and the implementation of wall coatings. As a result, the edifices of Párizsi street 1-3. and Párizsi street 2-4. will be standing up to the first floor by the beginning of next year and we can walk on the future passage among structurally ready buildings in a year.
