Parade of wine villages
The 5th Annual Wine Village (Borfalu) between Aug 19-24 will be the parade of the Hungarian wine regions. The wine-tasting public on the square of ’56 can not only sample the best offers of the wine villages accompanied by palinkas, local cheeses and meat, but can also be judges in the Winemaker’s Competition and vote for the most delicious drinks. Borfalu Cigányzenekar (Wine Village Gypsy Band) will create a joyful backdrop for the 6-day-long wine extravaganza, and while the parents enjoy the great drinks and the jazz, blues, rock and roll and classical music that will also be represented on stage, children can take part in a drawing competition and go for small prizes of the Wine Village. Buy single day tickets for Ft 1,500 or a six-day ticket for Ft 7,000.
