Public order package accepted

With the parliamentary approval of amendments to the civil code it is now possible to initiate legal action in the cases of discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, religious belief or sexual orientation and take the matter to court.
The criminal code and the offence law were amended too, introducing the preparation of violence or violence against a member of a group. It will be punishable by law to obstruct other’s right of assembly, to defy the event organizer, to organize an event without announcing it to the authorities or to prepare for violence against authorized persons.
